50 000 Prize Winners - HeartFm Competition
LENTEC Training Academy was honoured to participate in Heart 104.9FM's Youth Month initiative, celebrating young people who are shaping brighter futures through skills development and community involvement. Working alongside valued partners, LENTEC showcased the power of vocational education, servant leadership and social responsibility, reinforcing its commitment to creating opportunities that inspire hope, unlock potential and empower South Africa's youth.

DDU Certificate Handover - 5 month Learnership
LENTEC Training Academy and Decor Design & Upholstery celebrated the successful completion of a five-month Upholstery Learnership that equipped learners with nationally recognised practical skills while encouraging a strong culture of servant leadership. As part of their workplace experience, learners refurbished furniture for the Leliebloem Child and Youth Care Centre, demonstrating how vocational training can create qualified artisans while making a lasting difference within the community.
Leliebloem Furniture Handover
As part of its commitment to giving back, LENTEC Training Academy partnered with Decor Design & Upholstery to restore furniture at the Leliebloem Child and Youth Care Centre in Athlone. Learners applied the upholstery skills gained during their training to refurbish seating used by vulnerable children, transforming everyday spaces into more welcoming environments while experiencing first-hand how their newly acquired skills can create meaningful and lasting community impact.
Soft Skills Development
Working alongside the City of Cape Town's Community, Arts and Culture Development Department, LENTEC delivers transformative soft skills programmes that equip individuals with essential life and workplace competencies such as self-leadership, emotional intelligence, problem-solving, conflict resolution and personal development. Designed for vulnerable and underserved communities, these interventions help participants develop confidence, resilience and practical skills that prepare them for employment, leadership opportunities and meaningful participation in society.
Grade 12 Motivational Sessions
LENTEC Training Academy NPC was deeply honoured and privileged to partner with the Metro North Education District and the Western Cape Education Department in delivering Grade 12 Motivational Sessions to learners within Circuit 5 on 13 August 2026.
Sisters Inc. CSI Project
LENTEC Training Academy, in partnership with Decor Design & Upholstery (DDU), proudly supported Sisters Incorporated through a meaningful Corporate Social Investment initiative that restored and reupholstered the centre's furniture for women and children affected by gender-based violence. While DDU learners gained valuable hands-on industry experience, the project also created a more welcoming and dignified environment for survivors rebuilding their lives. This initiative reflects LENTEC's belief that skills development should create lasting social impact by empowering both learners and the communities they serve.
